There are a number of neighborhoods off of Lyons Bend Rd., Houser Rd., and Duncan Rd. which all make their way eventually to the lake. Interspersed with grand estates are mid and late-20th century and early 21st century neighborhoods. Some are among the grandest in town, some are a little bit quirky, most all are loaded with character. Lyons Bend homes have large mature yards, and quite a few have mountain views or waterfront. At the heart of this area is the Peninsula Club and Duncan’s Boat Dock. The “P” Club is a vibrant community club with a swimming pool (and even a swim team) and tennis courts. Duncan’s is a local landmark and the spot where many residents keep or launch their boats and pick up seasonal produce grown by the Duncan family. There are a handful of lakefront luxury condominiums across the cove from the boat dock, but most of this area is made up of larger family homes. Lakeshore Park is quite convenient to Lyons Bend.
